Points Program Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Purpose)

1. These Terms and Conditions define the various conditions under which because Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides point services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") to members who have registered in accordance with the Point System Rules (hereinafter referred to as "the Rules").

2. For matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions regarding the Service, the Rules shall apply.


Article 2 (Granting of Points)

1. The Company shall grant "points" (hereinafter referred to as "Points") when a member purchases goods or uses services through the because Online Store (hereinafter referred to as "the Shop") by methods designated by the Company, or in other cases deemed appropriate by the Company.
2. The Company shall determine the services and transactions eligible for point granting (hereinafter referred to as "Eligible Transactions"), the point granting rate, and other conditions for point granting, and shall notify members on the relevant page of the designated website.
3. Points shall be granted upon completion of product shipment after the Eligible Transaction takes place. If the Company confirms any cancellation, return, etc., of the Eligible Transaction, no points will be granted for that Eligible Transaction. If there is a price change for the Eligible Transaction, points will be granted according to the changed purchase amount.
4. The Company shall make the final decision regarding whether or not to grant points for a certain transaction, the number of points to be granted, and other matters concerning the granting of points.


Article 3 (Point Management)

1. The Company shall notify members of the point balance by methods prescribed by the Company.
2. If a member has any doubt about the number of points in the preceding paragraph, the member shall immediately contact the Company and explain the details.
3. The Company shall make the final decision regarding the number of points in Paragraph 1.


Article 4 (Prohibition of Point Aggregation and Multiple Registrations)

1. Members may not transfer or pledge their held points to other members, share points between members, or aggregate them.
2. If a member has multiple member registrations, the member may not aggregate the points held in each member registration.


Article 5 (Point Cancellation/Expiration)

1. If, after the Company grants points, there is any reason for return, cancellation, or other circumstances for which the Company deems it appropriate to cancel the granting of points for the Eligible Transaction, the Company may cancel the points granted due to that Eligible Transaction.
2. If the Company determines that a member falls under any of the following items, the Company may cancel some or all of the points held by the member without prior notice to the member.
(1) In the event of illegal or fraudulent acts.
(2) In the event of a violation of these Terms and Conditions, the Rules, or other terms and rules set by the Company.
(3) In other cases where the Company deems it appropriate to cancel points granted to a member.
3. The Company shall not provide any compensation for canceled or expired points and shall not bear any responsibility whatsoever.


Article 6 (Use of Points in Payment)

1. Members may use the points they hold to pay all or part of the settlement amount (including product price, shipping fees, handling fees, or consumption tax; hereinafter the same) at the Shop, using the conversion method and conversion rate determined by the Company, by methods determined by the Company.
2. The Company may restrict the services or products eligible for point use as described in Paragraph 1, or impose conditions on point usage.
3. If a member cancels a payment made under Paragraph 1, the points used for that payment will generally be returned, and no cash refund will be made.
4. If a member uses points to pay the full settlement amount and then the settlement amount is reduced for any reason, points or cash will be refunded in accordance with the preceding paragraph. If a member uses points to pay part of the settlement amount and then the settlement amount is reduced for any reason, a refund will first be made using other payment methods, and if there is still a shortfall in the amount requiring a refund, points or cash will be refunded for that shortfall in accordance with the preceding paragraph.
5. If, after a member uses points to pay the settlement amount, the settlement amount increases for any reason, the member shall pay the increased amount using another payment method. However, if the member used points to pay the full settlement amount and chose to use all held points for payment, the points held by the member shall be preferentially used for payment of the increased amount, and if the remaining points are insufficient for the increased amount, the shortfall shall be paid using another payment method.
6. If a member uses all held points to pay the settlement amount for a certain transaction, and new points are granted or returned to that member within a certain period after that transaction as determined by the Company, those granted or returned points shall also be automatically applied to the payment of the settlement amount for that transaction.


Article 7 (Accidents, etc.)

If any accident such as delay, loss, theft, damage, or breakage occurs during delivery or after provision of the product or service that was the subject of payment under Article 6, the Company shall not be liable for any such accident, except when the accident is due to the Company's responsibility, and points may not be refunded.


Article 8 (Cancellation of Points After Use)

If, after a member uses points for payment under Article 6, points are canceled due to Article 5, Paragraph 1 or 2, the transaction subject to that payment (hereinafter referred to as "Point-Used Transaction") may be canceled or put on hold. If a Point-Used Transaction has already been executed or is intended to be executed, the member shall immediately pay the Company the shortfall due to point cancellation in cash or by a payment method designated by the Company.


Article 9 (Non-Convertibility to Cash)

Members may not convert points into cash under any circumstances.


Article 10 (Use by Third Parties)

1. Points shall be used by the member themselves, and no third party other than that member may use them.
2. The Company shall deem the use of points with a specific member number as use by the individual who possesses that member number. Even if it was unauthorized use by a third party, the Company will not refund the used points and will not bear any responsibility for damages incurred by the member.


Article 11 (Loss/Suspension of Membership)

If a member loses their membership status, they shall lose all rights related to the use of the Service, including held points, rights to exchange for benefits, and shall not acquire any claims against the Company as a result of losing their status.


Article 12 (Disclaimer)

The Company will make its best efforts in operating the Service based on the technological standards at that time, but does not guarantee that no failures will occur. The Company shall not be responsible for any damages incurred by members due to interruptions, delays, suspensions, or loss of data in the system due to failures in communication lines, computers, etc., failures related to point usage, unauthorized access to data, or any other damages related to the Service.


Article 13 (Changes to the Service)

1. The Company may, without prior notice to members, make changes to these Terms and Conditions, the content of the Service, or the conditions for providing the Service (including, but not limited to, abolition of points, suspension of point granting, changes to target sites or transactions, or changes in point granting rates or usage rates), and may terminate or suspend the Service. Members shall acknowledge this in advance.
2. The Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantage or damage incurred by members due to the changes in the preceding paragraph.
