■What is RADICOOL?

RADICOOL is a "radiative cooling material" that suppresses heat buildup on the umbrella's surface, increases reflectivity, and radiates absorbed heat to the outside.

It holds the world's first patented technology, capable of lowering an object's surface temperature without using any electricity.

It works by suppressing heat from sunlight and releasing heat into space as infrared rays, utilizing a wavelength range called "the atmospheric window" present in Earth's atmosphere.

Thermal imaging results after 30 minutes showed a temperature reduction of approximately 40.7°C!

We irradiated with artificial sunlight and took thermal images of a mannequin's head after 30 minutes, both with and without the RADICOOL parasol. The temperatures and temperature differences in the thermal images were measured under the following conditions:

Measurement environment: 25.0 ± 1.0°C, humidity 50 ± 4% RH (indoor test)
Measurement sample: 100% polyester RADICOOL white fabric (PU coated back)
Rib size: 55cm / 5-rib folding umbrella

Temperature change over 30 minutes was measured with and without the RADICOOL parasol, irradiated by an artificial solar lamp.

Measurements were taken at a distance of 50cm from the heat-sensing element (temperature sensor) to the artificial solar lamp.

Measurement environment: 25.0 ± 2.0℃, temperature 50 ± 4% RH (indoor test) / Measurement sample: 100% polyester / RADICOOL white fabric (PU coated back) / Rib size: 55cm / 5-rib folding umbrella

POINT 1 Heat shielding rate of 65% or more. Using the highest grade fabric, it reduces heat transfer from sunlight.

POINT 2 100% UV protection 100% light blocking Effectively blocks both UV rays and light. Furthermore, it has achieved the highest UV protection factor, UPF50+.

POINT 3 All-weather capability blocks rain effectively. Excellent water resistance means it can be safely used as a rain umbrella.
