What is Earth hacks?
Earth hacks is a co-creation platform that promotes a decarbonized society through the actions of individual consumers. It is a joint project between Hakuhodo's new business development organization "Mirai Business Room" and Mitsui & Co. For those interested in decarbonization, including Generation Z, we provide information on lifestyles and ethical products that they would want to incorporate into their own lives. We also plan and operate a co-creation platform that aims to develop decarbonization-related products, services, and businesses based on consumer feedback. Furthermore, to support consumers' decarbonization efforts, we utilize "The 2030 Calculator," a tool from the Swedish impact tech company "Doconomy" that visualizes the carbon dioxide emissions of products. On the Earth hacks website, we introduce products with lower CO2 emissions than conventional products, thereby providing a mechanism that contributes to decarbonization.
